人与自然的接触,尚有若干境界。因欲返本归真,冥合天人。介乎其中,借以宇宙万物之色象、秩序、节奏、和谐,内视自我的最深心灵。化景为境,以气领形,抒情言志。通过表现主观生命情调与客观自然景象交融互渗,成就渊然而生的灵境,意中生发的精神。
因热爱自然,热爱自然的山水草木,风雪雨霁,作品大都是在和自然的直接对话中完成的,在与自然的共呼吸同体悟的过程中,进入物我合一的境界,笔随心至,画随神出,一气呵成。
作画必定要全情投入,全神贯注。“物我合一,天人合一”,深切得益于靳之林先生的教诲和他本原哲学理念的影响,中国传统哲学观渗入我生命之中。
在绘画创作中,从描绘物象写实面貌至汲取其内在的气质加以浓缩提炼,直至超脱物系之外的生命力的彰显。线条是诉诸于心灵的,色彩则诉诸于感觉。心灵得到磨练,色彩就被引向合乎理性的道路。情景的交融是心灵对物象的直接反映,在此基础上由表及里,汲取精华,彰显内在,直至剥去一切表皮,呈现出晶莹真境即心境与物境的合一。
艺无止境,需要长期的艺术实践、生活实践与文化实践。“他山之石,可以攻玉。”在掌握油画的造型与色彩体系科学规律的同时,未敢忘记自己脚下是几千年文化所积淀的土壤。扎根其中,汲取营养,通过长期的社会生活实践和民族文化的熏陶与体悟,融汇生活感受与艺术表现,传承本原哲学理念,发展中国传统绘画艺术的理法,形成自身独特的绘画艺术体系。

The contact between human and nature varies in many levels, and in my artistic pursuit I aim at returning to nature and becoming a part of it so as to see through my innermost soul by the means of color, order, rhythm and harmony in this world, to express my emotion and will using the images which are controlled by the artistic conception. Through presenting the blending between subjective emotions on life and objective natural scenes, I wish to explore a natural context and natural spirits.
Most of my works were completed while I was sketching directly from nature, for I love nature and its natural scenery. When being close to nature I blend myself with it and finish a painting without any interruption by letting my brush follow my mind.
Painting requires a full devotion. The instruction from Mr. Jin Zhilin and his primitive philosophy have cast a deep influence upon me, and the traditional Chinese philosophy as "blending oneself with the subject and integrating human into nature" has melted into my life.
In the process of painting I depict the scenery and refine its inner spirit to highlight the vitality of life that goes beyond the scenery itself. Lines comes from the soul and colors from perception. If the soul obtains sufficient experience, the color will be led onto a road of reason. The harmony between emotion and scenery is a direct reflection of the soul upon the physical image based on which an integration of soul and image will be presented by absorbing the essence from the surface to the deep until all coats are taken off and the internals are brought out.
Art is an endless journey which requires long-term practice in art, life and culture. "By other's faults, wise men correct their own." Having mastered the scientific laws for the structure and color system of oil painting, I always have in mind the rich Chinese culture which has been accumulating over thousand years and keep absorbing its nutrients from it. For a long time I will practice in social life and try to understand the national culture and receive its cultivation, based on which I will blend my life experience with art expression, inherit national primitive philosophy, and develop the theory of traditional Chinese painting art to form my own painting art system .
